Yapkim Yavuzlar Plastik ve Kimya San. Tic. A.S. has been founded in Istanbul in 1987 by Sadettin Yavuz as the first company of the group and operates in the field of plastic raw material trade. After founding ABS Dis Tic. Ltd. Sti. In 1992 due to the increasing demand in plastic import, Say Polymers B.V. company has been founded in Amsterdam, Netherlands in 1998 in order to carry out plastic raw material trade and to meet the imported raw material requirement of the companies in Turkey.
ABS Dis Tic. Ltd. Sti has been merged with Yapkim Yavuzlar Plastik ve Kimya San. Tic. A.S. as May 31.2010.
The Group carries out the marketing of the products obtained from Petkim in local market as well as the imported products to the companies in Turkey. Say Polymers B.V., the other company of the Group, carries out imported product sales to the companies in Turkey and also sales to Western Europe from the warehouse in Netherlands and to Eastern Europe and former Eastern Block countries from the warehouses in Istanbul.
Besides performing the deliveries of the products to the customers with containers and lorry trucks, the deliveries are also performed from the warehouses and bonded warehouses in Istanbul, Izmir and Mersin. In accordance with the increasing need in logistics, the Group also carries out its works to construct a bonded warehouse in Silivri, Istanbul with a covered area of 21 thousand m2.
